Conceptualized by French-based visionary Alex McDiarmid, the Iwana is inspired by the sinuous lines of the water dragon. While the classic bow shape has been retained, the yacht is encased in what has been described as “magic glass”, which reflects rays from the sun and evokes the shimmering scales of a marine reptile.
The naval architect first revealed his masterplan for this ambitious project at last year’s Monaco Yacht Show, and will release further details about the construction and tech specs of this reptilian craft in time to come, so watch this space.
